IDEAS: Research Group of Scholars (IRGS)

Welcome to IDEAS: Research Group of Scholars (IRGS)

IDEAS: Research Group of Scholars (IRGS) is a global platform for researchers, academicians, scholars, and emerging intellectuals — connected under the Umbrella of  IDEAS (An International Journal of Literature, Arts, Science and Culture), published by Institute of Advanced Studies, Dhaka. Our aim is to bridge local and global scholarly discourses, facilitate research collaboration, and offer a supportive community for scholars worldwide.

Members of IRGS may join from home or abroad. Scholars who have already published in previous volumes (Vol. 1–10) are automatically “free members.” Others can join by registering through a minimal registration fee.

IRGS works closely with other concerns of IDEAS — particularly the Ideas’ Bridging Cultures Foundation (IBCF) — to contribute meaningfully to global research, education, and cultural exchange.

Vision

To create an inclusive, internationally‑connected community of scholars and researchers that fosters innovation, cross‑cultural exchange, and high‑quality research across literature, arts, science, culture, and social studies — enabling global access to ideas and nurturing a sustainable scholarly network under IDEAS & IRGS.

Mission

  • Provide a global platform for researchers, academicians, and scholars to publish original research, engage in academic dialogue, and share knowledge.
  • Facilitate research collaboration and intellectual exchange across countries, languages, and disciplines.
  • Maintain high academic standards through peer-review, ethical publication practices, and scholarly rigor.
  • Work closely with IBCF to promote cultural bridging, translation projects, and interdisciplinary research collaborations, and arrange National and International Conferences, Seminars and Symposiums.
  • Encourage participation of emerging researchers — including early‑career scholars and students — by providing accessible membership and opportunities for publication and mentorship.

Objectives

  • To build and sustain an international scholarly network under IRGS, connecting researchers from Bangladesh and around the world.
  • To offer a recognized, peer-reviewed outlet for publishing original research across literature, arts, social science, natural science, culture, and interdisciplinary fields under IDEAS journal.
  • To ensure quality and integrity of academic output via rigorous peer-review, editorial oversight, and ethical standards.
  • To expand opportunities for cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary collaboration — including translation, comparative studies, and global partnerships.
  • To support capacity-building for young and emerging scholars — through mentorship, workshops, guidance for publication, and inclusion in research community.
  • To foster continuous knowledge dissemination, academic dialogue, and cultural exchange via publications, conferences, events, and digital outreach.

  • New members — researchers, academicians, or interested scholars — can register through a simple registration process (with minimal fee) to become part of the IRGS community.
  • Membership grants access to submission calls, participation in conferences/events, networking with scholars worldwide, opportunities for collaboration, and access to published volumes.

Collaboration with IBCF and IPL

As an integral associate of IDEAS, IRGS works hand-in-hand with IBCF — Ideas’ Bridging Cultures Foundation  and IDEAS Press Limited (IPL) — to promote cross-cultural research, translations, global partnerships, and academic philanthropy. Through this collaboration, IRGS aims to elevate the global visibility of scholars from Bangladesh and beyond, and support cultural and scholarly exchange internationally.
