The Ideas’ Bridging Cultures Foundation (IBCF) is a philanthropic organization dedicated to advancing research, education, and cultural dialogue through Bridging Cultures and literature. Working with the Institute of Advanced Studies, IDEAS Journal, CLCB, and IRGS, it empowers young scholars, supports disadvantaged communities, and ensures that no talent is wasted due to lack of resources
The Ideas’ Bridging Cultures Foundation (IBCF) is a global philanthropic organization established to advance research, education, and cultural dialogue through Bridging Cultures, Comparative Literature and allied disciplines. Acting as a patron and guiding body, IBC Foundation works closely with the Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS), the international peer-reviewed journal IDEAS [ ISSN: 2413-1814 (Print) E-ISSN: 3005-8031(Online) ] , and the Comparative Literature Council of Bangladesh (CLCB) to disseminate new knowledge in literature, arts, science, and culture through research.
IBCF also partners with the IDEAS Research Group of Scholars (IRGS) and Research and Higher Studies Society (RHSS) to create dynamic platforms for young and emerging researchers. It provides training, mentorship, and funding to ensure that deserving talents—particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds—can thrive in education and research. A core mission of IBC Foundation is to ensure that ‘no merit goes to waste due to financial barriers’.
With a strong humanitarian commitment, IBC Foundation prioritizes orphans, women, and underprivileged communities, offering them opportunities to participate in scholarly and educational endeavors. Beyond publications, conferences, symposiums, workshops and fellowships, the Foundation also undertakes philanthropic projects worldwide to uplift the human condition through literacy, cultural exchange, and academic empowerment.
Through these efforts, IBC Foundation envisions itself as a bridge connecting local and global voices, fostering equity, and advancing intercultural understanding for a more inclusive and peaceful world.
