IDEAS: An International Journal of Literature, Arts, Science and Culture is a premier peer-reviewed research journal published by the Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangladesh. Since 2014, as provided a vibrant platform for scholars, researchers, and writers to share original work across literature, arts, culture, science, and related disciplines. It publishes both print and online versions (ISSN: 2413-1814; E-ISSN: 3005-8031) and hosts a wide variety of contributions—research articles, reviews, translations, cultural studies, critical theory, and more.
With an ISSN: 2413-1814 (Print) and E-ISSN: 3005-8031 (Online), IDEAS continues to maintain its reputation for rigorous scholarship and innovative research. The journal is helmed by a distinguished editorial team led by Professor Mustafizur Rahman, the Editor-in-Chief, who brings his extensive academic expertise and leadership experience as a former Vice-Chancellor of the People’s University of Bangladesh Supporting him is Dr. Rahman M. Mahbub, the Editor, an Professor and Head of the Department of English Language & Literature at City University, Bangladesh.
Dr. Mahbub is a critic, academic, translator, bilingual writer, and poet with over 22 years of experience in teaching English Language and Literature at various universities. He earned his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and has published numerous creative articles, research papers, and books in both English and Bengali. His dedication to academic excellence and literary contributions significantly enhance the quality and depth of our journal.
The editorial board comprises esteemed scholars from both home and abroad, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive perspective across various disciplines. This international assembly of experts upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and contributes to the journal’s global reach and impact.
To maintain the quality and originality of the research we publish, IDEAS employs a rigorous peer-review process. Each submission is evaluated by at least two anonymous reviewers, and based on their feedback, decisions are made to accept, request minor revisions, or reject the manuscript. Additionally, all papers are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin, ensuring the authenticity of the scholarly work we disseminate.
