About Dr. Rahman M. Mahbub
Professor Dr. Rahman M. Mahbub is an eminent scholar, researcher, and educator with over 22 years of teaching experience at prestigious universities in Bangladesh. He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature, with his dissertation focusing on “Elements of Alienation, Absurdity, Waiting, and Hope in the Works of Samuel Beckett and Sayeed Ahmad.”
Currently, he serves as the Professor of English and Head of the Department of English Language & Literature at City University, where he plays a pivotal role in academic leadership. Dr. Mahbub is also the Advisor and Director of the Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW) at City University.
Additionally, Dr. Mahbub works as an Adjunct Professor & External Examiner at Jahangirnagar University, contributing to the fields of Comparative Literature and English Literature.
